1st Grade Explorers is Ms. Monica's live virtual enrichment program for first graders, built for children who are ready to level up their reading, deepen their math skills, explore science, and develop the handwriting and language confidence that sets them apart.
Your child attends live class with Ms. Monica and a trained classroom assistant twice a week. A specialty educator leads Wednesday. The rest of the week, they explore at their own pace through a curated digital library and learning games all inside your family's virtual classroom.

Your child's first grade year is happening whether you plan for it or not. The families who enroll in 1st Grade Explorers are choosing to make it extraordinary. Pre-registration opens July 8, 2026. The private platform opens on August 3, 2026.
First grade is compulsory education in most states, and if you are homeschooling, your district may require you to document what your child is learning, show evidence of progress, or submit a portfolio for review. 1st Grade Explorers is built with that in mind.
Ms. Monica is a 23-year dually certified teacher. Her curriculum is aligned to Common Core State Standards in ELA and Math and to Next Generation Science Standards, the same benchmarks school districts use to evaluate homeschool submissions across the country. When your child is in this program, their learning is documented.
1st Grade Explorers supports your documentation needs every session, so you have what you need for your school district, without us doing your paperwork for you.
Session Learning Report
A formal curriculum summary at the end of every 8-week session - skills covered, standards addressed, and attendance - ready for your portfolio or district submission. Signed by Ms. Monica with full teacher credentials.
Live parent meeting
A live 30-minute conference with Ms. Monica every month. Hear directly about your child's progress, ask questions, and document a certified teacher's assessment for your records.
Attendance records
Every live class date is logged and accessible inside your family's private platform. Download or print your attendance record at any time for state reporting purposes.
All curriculum is aligned to Common Core State Standards for 1st grade in ELA and Math, and to Next Generation Science Standards — accepted documentation in all 50 states.
1st Grade Explorers does not file your paperwork or complete your district's forms, that remains your responsibility as the homeschooling parent. What we do is give you everything you need to do it confidently.

Yes. 1st Grade Explorers is designed as the direct continuation of the Kinder program. The skills build on what your child already knows, the classroom culture stays consistent, and the relationship with Ms. Monica continues. Your child won't skip a beat.
Absolutely. Many families use 1st Grade Explorers as enrichment alongside their school day. Classes run on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Check the schedule to confirm timing works for your family.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to keep the classroom intimate and high quality. Ms. Monica and her assistant work with a small cohort of up to 10 students, not a large group. This is not a mass-enrollment virtual program.
Our Preschool programs can be totally independent, however this will depend primarily on each individual child. Children will need their basic materials set-up before their lesson begins. Parent preparation is simple and can be done ahead of time the night before or morning of the class.
Every live session is recorded and available in your virtual classroom. Your child can watch the replay and complete that week's digital activities at their own pace. Nothing is lost.
Before each 8-week session begins, a physical kit is mailed to your home. It contains hands-on materials aligned to that session's curriculum, so your child has what they need from day one. The kit is included in your enrollment. No separate purchase required.
Yes, refunds are available for all of the live virtual programs. Since this is a digital product/program we will offer partial payment refunds for a limited time. For partial refunds we will give you up until the 1st week of the program for a refund. You pay for the 1st week plus an administration fee.
The classroom assistant is a college student majoring in Education who works alongside Ms. Monica in every Monday and Tuesday session. They manage the virtual classroom, support student engagement, assist children who need extra help, and help run activities, so Ms. Monica can focus entirely on teaching. Your child gets more adult attention, not less.
