What is Kinder Explorers?


Kinder Explorers is a program which includes 8 weeks in each session. The Kinder Explorers program is recommended for ages 4+. This is a great program for students who are entering or are enrolled in kindergarten.  

This is a combination program consisting of live virtual lessons, video lessons and digital learning activities. In this program children will receive live lessons 3 days per week, including 1 pre-recorded art lesson and daily independent interactive activities/tasks on Thursday & Friday. The program includes general education lessons such as phonics, math, handwriting, science and art.

8 Week Live Program:

  • Live Lessons  on Mondays - Wednesdays 
  • Pre-recorded art lesson and independent studies on Thursdays & Fridays
  • Session 2 2024/2025 Dates – November 18th - January 24th (Please see information section for holidays/days off) 
  • Recommended Ages – 4-6
  • Class Time - 1:00PM EST
  • Class Duration: 60 minutes
  • Some materials will need to be printed
  • We need 6 students minimum for this class to run. No more than 12 students per class.
  • All students are given a calendar with class days, times, special lessons, holidays, special video classes and more.

Class Schedule

Kinder Explorers Program Includes

Class Time: 1:00PM EST

  • Private Class Platform

    We offer a private class platform where parents can access all learning materials (including worksheets, materials lists and more). This is where all updates about the program will be featured.

  • Daily Lessons

    This class is taught live Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. On Thursdays & Fridays children receive a digital and pre-recorded video lesson, which can be accessed on the private platform.

  • Weekly Activity Bundle

    Weekly activity and lesson bundles are uploaded to our private platform once a week. All bundles include activity sheets for the week. Children also receive independent activities uploaded weekly to the platform.

Founder/Head Teacher Ms. Monica

Monica J Sutton is the CEO and founder of Preschool Explorers. Ms. Monica is an early childhood educator and child behavior specialist who’s created an online community, of over 900,00 people, that is centered around Early Childhood Education. She teaches young children both in her virtual classroom at Preschool Explorers and worldwide through her online YouTube children's show Circle Time with Ms. Monica.  With a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, Ms. Monica has spent over 21 years working directly with children of all abilities and backgrounds in both virtual and physical classrooms.

Kinder Explorers Information

Program Dates - September 9th - November 1st  

  • General Fee – $1050
  • Payment Plan - $365 per month - 3 payments
  • Sibling General Payment $1575 (2 children)
  • Sibling Payment Plan - 3 payments of  $530
  • More than 1 child (2 siblings) – 25% off total
  • Payment Plans - Payments are automatically withdrawn 1 time per month.  For example if you register on November 1st, your final payment will be December 1st. 
  • *International Students (outside of the United States) - a separate shipping fee will be billed for the Learning Package shipment.  The fee is based on your location and the shipping fee generated by FedEx.  Preschool Explorers covers the first $15 of shipping for all registered students. This fee will be invoiced after shipments have been made. After you register our office will contact you.

Policies:

  •  If the teacher is absent either a substitute will cover the class, a pre-recorded lesson will be provided or there will be a make-up class.
  • Partial Refund for all live virtual programs (please read below)
  • All lessons are recorded for replay purposes and are only for registered student access.

* Preschool Explorers is not a school or day-care center and does not provide child care services. This is why our fees/tuition does not qualify as a child care or dependent care expense. Our programs are considered enrichment programs. Families must consult with their tax preparer regarding the deductibility of the expenses. 



*Refunds are available for all 8 week programs. Since this is a digital product/program we will offer partial payment refunds for a limited time. For partial refunds we will give you up until the 1st week of the program for a refund.  You pay for the 1st week plus an administration fee.  This session's refunds are only available through November 22, 2024 by 11:59PM PST.  Please email us at [email protected] for refund details.

FAQ

  • Can I pay per week for the Pre-K Cubs class? Is there a payment plan?

    No, our programs are sold as 8 week programs. There will be a one time payment option or a payment plan option.

  • Does my child have to participate in all 8 weeks of programming?

    This is a live and pre-recorded 8 week program. We recommend your child attends the live classes. If your child misses a class there is always a replay video available to watch after each lesson.

  • What ages are the programs suitable for?

    Based on skills covered in our programs, they are recommended for ages 3 - 5. Please review the skills that we will cover in each class to make sure it's suitable for your child.

  • How long will I have access to the Pre-K Cubs content?

    All Preschool Explorers lessons will remain there until the end of the 8 week program. You will have access to the program material up to two weeks after the program is complete. These video lessons are not downloadable. This is a 8 week program.

  • Do parents need to participate in Pre-K All & Pre-K Cub classes?

    Our Preschool programs can be totally independent, however this will depend primarily on each individual child. Children will need their basic materials set-up before their lesson begins. Parent preparation is simple and can be done ahead of time the night before or morning of the class.

  • Will my child need materials ready at home for Pre-K All & Pre-K Cub lessons?

    Yes, since our program happens in your home your child will need some materials each day. We try to keep the materials to a minimum. Your child will need simple materials in order to participate. A materials list is provided for each week. Once your program registration is complete you’ll have access to our private platform where you can find the materials list and more. We’ll provide plenty of easy, economical ideas and suggestions.

  • Are any of your classes live lessons?

    Yes, the Pre-K Cub program offers live lessons via Zoom.

  • What if my child isn't ready for some of the activities in the program?

    Patience is key. Have patience and give your child time to adapt to their new routines, work, lessons, etc. Make sure you sample the first few classes and see if your child engages with the lessons. You are given a time frame for a refund.

  • Can I receive a refund if I don't think the content is right for my child?

    Yes, refunds are available for all of the programs. Since this is a digital product/program we will offer partial payment refunds for a limited time. For partial refunds we will give you up until the 1st week of the program for a refund. You pay for the 1st week plus an administration fee.
